HOLY COW!!! Literally. We just spent our life fortune on a half of a cow last week. Well, the bill has yet to come but we have 109 pounds of ground beef and about 200 some pounds of the other. I guess we will thank good ol' George Bush for this. This will be how we spent part of our economic stimulus stipend. In the past we had been buying a 1/4 cow but this time we stepped it up b/c we were always running out of ground beef and roasts. Now we have enough roasts (24) and ground beef to hopefully last a year. I feel like a pioneer stocking up on things in bulk. Hey, if meat prices sky rocket I guess we made out pretty good.
